BBQ and Pool Party (12:00 pm – 5:00 pm)
** The pool party and BBQ is a private event, exclusively for members of the neighborhood, as well as outside members of the pool.

Guest Policy
The Social Committee has received a few questions asking about the party and the guest policy — and wanted to send out a quick message to clarify for all:  If you have a family member/friend visiting for the holiday, they are able to join you at the pool during operating hours 11 AM to 9 PM. As seating space is limited, we do suggest you consider bringing chairs or blankets on the day. As the event has food and drink paid for by the HOA as well as games which have prizes eligible, Guests will NOT be able to partake in those paid activities. There is no option to pay for a guest to have food. You are more than welcome to bring your own food and drink on the day (no glass please).

Annual Spring Property Inspections
Annual compliance reviews are scheduled to begin in the next week or so for all owners of single family homes in Washingtonian Woods. These inspections are to verify that every property is in full compliance with the Association’s governing documents, and the reviews are conducted during this time of year in order to give everyone an opportunity to make necessary corrections and repairs during the best possible weather conditions. Please note the Annual Compliance Review is in addition to regular drive through visits. The reviews are done from the streets and common areas, and may include photos. Please be aware, no one will be coming onto your property.

Neighborhood SHAMROCK FEST This Saturday!

Hello Neighbors,

🍀SHAMROCK FEST ANNOUNCEMENT!!🍀

When:  Saturday, March 15
Time:  3:00pm – 6:00pm
Where:  Clubhouse parking lot

On Saturday, March 15, the social committee will host our first Shamrock Fest! The leprechauns must have had some tricks up their sleeve when they approached the committee, because we were able to secure FIVE (5) different inflatables for the event and because of the leprechaun magic, we don’t even need any volunteers!

So come out to the pool parking lot between 3pm and 6pm, mingle with your favorite neighbors, watch your kids run around and play (and maybe even challenge them to a game or 2), drink some green lemonade, and if you’re lucky you’ll be around when the leprechaun throws out gold to the crowd!! We will also have a pizza truck to make dinner plans easy!

And, full disclosure! The HOA is working really hard to get our clubhouse fixed after the flood, but since we won’t have access to the inside (aka the bathrooms), we are giving your kids a true shamrock fest experience…when they gotta go, they gotta hold it! Unfortunately bathroom access will not be available, so make sure you empty those pipes before joining the fun!

We hope to see you there!

Thank you,
The Washingtonian Woods Social Committee

Clubhouse Water Remediation

Hello neighbors,

Clubhouse Water Leak
Late last week the Clubhouse experienced several water pipe leaks and much of the clubhouse experienced significant water damage as result. Remediation efforts have begun in earnest. (Some of you may have noticed many water remediation trucks at the Clubhouse over the last several days.)

If anyone has any events planned at the Clubhouse in the coming weeks and months, please reach out to Tim Mulford at PMP ([email protected]; 301-963-3337) to inquire as to whether or not your event will need to be relocated or rescheduled.

Once remediation efforts are completed, we will move into reconstruction phase and should have a better understanding of the timeline to complete repairs.

We will continue to keep the neighborhood posted.

Annual Meeting
The HOA Annual Meeting is scheduled for tomorrow evening, January 28, 2025 via Zoom. Please reach out to Tim Mulford at PMP ([email protected]; 301-963-3337) for the Zoom link, if you are interested in attending.
